Shot in the Dark was co-founded by two twenty-something newlyweds, Grant & Jordanna.
I (Grant) am an accountant by day and a board game and quiz fanatic by night. I'm in charge of finding interesting questions.
My wife, Jordanna, is in charge of sales, marketing, and social media.

I came up with the idea for Shot in the Dark on Christmas day, 2016. I was playing a well-known quiz game with Jordanna and my family.
My dad is pretty much a quiz master, but Jordanna and my sister have zero interest in current affairs, and are terrible at quizzes. No matter how we split the teams my dad's team won.

After some grumbling, I went online to find a quiz game about educated guesswork so that everyone could have fun. When I couldn't find one, I decided to invent one instead.

Shot in the Dark was a surprise hit, quickly becoming an Amazon bestseller, and receiving amazing feedback from customers.
This success spurred us on and gave us the confidence to commit to launching new games.
Going forwards, we plan to create a range of games which are: affordable, UK manufactured, quick and easy to learn, great fun to play, and can be enjoyed by all.
